You've apparently clicked over to this page from my Twitter home page. So who is @cecilyk?
This is my professional site, CecilyKellogg.com. I would be the aforementioned Cecily Kellogg. I'm a social media consultant and writer. I've done social media consulting with a number of clients, including Modern Bird Studios, InsuranceQuotes.com, Eden Fantasys, Jane, You Ignorant Slut and more. For my social media clients I've done everything from set up sites, devised launch strategies, created, recruited, and overseen special projects with bloggers in national campaigns, and helped folks navigate the tricky world of mom bloggers. I also create accessible, friendly, and grammatically correct SEO copy for companies ranging from educational sites to construction companies to the mortgage industry. Feel free to email me at cecily [at] cecilykellogg.com if you are interested in finding out more about what I can do for your organization.
I've also spoken extensively about social media, including at the Social Media Club of Philadelphia, the Type-A Mom Conference, BabyBites Manhattan, and Drexel University. This year I'll be speaking at the Mom 2.0 Summit, the 4th National Conference of Women, Addiction and Recovery among others. I love speaking, and am always open to requests to speak.
I'm primarily known for my personal blog Uppercase Woman. Started in March of 2004, my blog has evolved from a personal journal about struggling with infertility to a "mommy" blog that delves not only into parenting but politics (with a definite left wing bias), spirituality, body image issues, and much more. Pretty much I write about whatever is kicking around in my head. And I swear. Far more than the average person.
My blog has gotten extensive press, won some blog awards, and gets plenty of hits, but more than anything else is an amazing and fantastic community of both writer and readers; many of my readers have been around since day one of the blog, and that's pretty amazing.
I generally do not do reviews, giveaways, or that sort of thing on my blog. Occasionally I can be persuaded, but it has to be something pretty spectacular to interest me (or, say, a fabulous free vacation or some awesome new gadgets; gadgets and vacations fall into the "spectacular" category). If your pitch starts out with "dear mom blogger" feel free to delete it before you send it. I do sometimes sell ads on my blog, but I generally prefer to donate my ad space to non-profit organizations that I believe in.

Thanks for visiting! As a bonus, here's an utterly adorable picture of my kid. Aren't you glad you clicked over now?
